The ESP32 30-Pin Expansion Board breaks out every GPIO of your ESP32 DevKit module into convenient GVS connectors (Ground, Voltage, Signal), eliminating the need for a breadboard. Ideal if you want to connect sensors, servos or other peripherals to a 30-pin ESP32 quickly and neatly.

Full GPIO breakout: Every I/O of your ESP32 is exposed as a 3-pin GVS header (Ground, Voltage, Signal) for direct sensor and servo wiring.
Flexible power input: Choose between USB-C (5 V), Micro-USB (5 V) or DC barrel jack (6.5–16 V) depending on your setup.
Voltage rail selection: “JUMP” jumper switches the V-rail of the GVS pins between 3.3 V and 5 V.
Dedicated power header: 3.3 V, 5 V and GND available independently of the jumper setting at all times.
I²C & UART exposed: SDA/SCL (D21/D22) and TX/RX are brought out to dedicated headers.

Description

The ESP32 30-Pin Expansion Board is an adapter shield that exposes all GPIOs of a plugged-in 30-pin ESP32 DevKit module as clearly labelled GVS three-pin headers (Ground – Voltage – Signal).

Instead of routing individual wires on a breadboard, you plug sensors and servos directly onto the matching pins – clean, stable and error-resistant. The board is well suited for IoT projects, robotics, rapid prototyping and educational settings using a 30-pin ESP32 DevKitC or DevKit V1.

Important Notes

Use only one power input at a time: Do not connect the DC barrel jack, USB-C and Micro-USB simultaneously. Keep the DC input voltage at or below 12 V to limit heat dissipation in the on-board linear 5 V regulator.

Check the jumper setting: The ESP32 operates at 3.3 V logic levels. Leave the “JUMP” jumper in the 3.3 V position under normal use. Applying 5 V to the signal pins may damage the ESP32 module.

3.3 V supply: The 3.3 V rail is provided by the regulator of the plugged-in ESP32 module – no 3.3 V is available without a module installed.
